Sequoyah Hills

Home to many of Knoxville’s notable business professionals and UT professors, Sequoya Hills offers idyllic, luxurious living near the heart of the city. Initially developed in the 1920’s, Sequoyah Hills was one of Knoxville’s first suburbs. Nestled on a small peninsula jutting into the Tennessee River, residents of Sequoya Hills have access to local businesses, riverside activities, and beautiful Sequoya Park.

Sequoya Hills homes vary greatly in architectural style with home prices ranging from $300,000 to well over $1,000,000. The neighborhood contains numerous notable examples of mid-20th century residential architecture, with houses designed by architects such as Charles I. Barber, Benjamin McMurry, and Francis Really.

Positioned between Downtown and West Knoxville, Sequoya Hills residents have access to shopping, entertainment and freeways. The popular Cherokee Boulevard was home to Knoxville’s first Dogwood Arts Trail and remains a popular gathering space for area residents.
